Lynne, aged 69, has lost 20kgs in 10 months

My name is Lynne. I am a 69 year old woman. I have struggled with weight all my life and over the last couple of years, since finishing work, my weight had increased to the point where I was feeling unwell and knew I needed to do something about it. This situation was compounded by the fact that I have Parkinson’s Disease and find exercise difficult. I’m not sure what led me to search out a nutritionist but I knew I didn’t want to repeat the usual avenues which I had tried in the past. When I came across the Nutrition for Life website and read Lynda’s bio I knew immediately she was the one. She has been there and knows what it is like.

I met Lynda for the first time on January 9th this year and am happy to say that today – ten months later - I have lost 20 kilos. I still have a way to go, but my short term goal is to lose another five kilos by Christmas. I know that with Lynda’s support I will achieve my mini goal.

While I have done the hard work, meeting with Lynda has been a wonderful support. I have appreciated her balanced, down to earth approach and non-judgmental attitude – which made it easy to own up to that extra slice of buttered toast! She has enabled me to achieve a more healthy way of eating without eliminating completely the food I enjoy and to come to grips with portion control. Her recommendations about various food options have been really helpful.

Signing up with Lynda has been a wonderful gift to myself. Family and friends are commenting on my increased confidence and energy and having dropped a couple of dress sizes has been rewarding.

Thank you Lynda.
