Low Carb, High (Healthy) Fat Salad
For the fat part of the salad choose from:
- Avocado
- Olive or avocado oil
- Cheese – high fat, not Edam
- Full fat mayo or aioli – made with olive oil – NOT soy, canola or other oils
- Full fat cream cheese
Protein ideas:
- Smoked salmon
- Hard boiled eggs
- Chicken
- Meat
- Haloumi
Salad/veggies
- Some kind of greens
- Mushrooms cooked on the BBQ or grill and then topped with blue cheese whilst hot
- ‘above the ground’ veggies
