Low Carb Burger Patties with Creamy Tomato Sauce
Makes 6 Patties
Ingredients
- 600g minced lamb or beef
- 1 egg
- 2 rounded tsp onion powder (optional)
- 1 tsp dried rosemary if using lamb mince OR 1 tsp dried mixed herbs if using beef mince
- 1 tsp salt
- Black pepper
Method
Mix the burger ingredients together to form 6 patties.
Fry in a mixture of 1 Tbs olive oil and 2 Tbs butter for about 10 minutes or until just cooked through.
Remove from the pan and keep warm.
Sauce
- 200 mls cream
- 2 Tbs tomato paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
Add the cream and tomato paste the hot pan and heat until the mixture boils and thickens a little. Season, then pour over patties.
Serve with veggies such as cauli mash and Brussel sprout and leek gratin.
